Our Story: From Local Roots to Madison’s Trusted Deck Builders
Madison Deck Co. started in 2016 with three of us and a shared standard for quality. My brother, our lead carpenter Mike, and I brought together different construction backgrounds. We believed decks should feel like natural extensions of a home.
Mike has been framing outdoor structures across Dane County since 2016. He understands how strength begins long before the surface boards are installed. My brother came from commercial construction, where precision and planning are non-negotiable. I worked in hardscaping projects across Madison, from Tenney Park to Shorewood Hills. That combined experience shaped the practical, detail-driven approach we bring to every build.

Most of our growth has come through referrals across Dane County. Neighbors recommend us because they have seen our work firsthand. We show up when scheduled and follow through on commitments. Our crew keeps job sites organized and respectful. Small habits like these build lasting credibility.
